Mike was born June 30, 1952 In Kendallville, Indiana to the late Paul James Baker and the late Elsie Slentz Baker Singleton. He married Tina Stringer Baker on November 23, 1979.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of Joyful Heirs Gospel Band and The Calvary Echoes Gospel Band. Mike enjoyed playing the drums and sharing his love and talent for his Lord. He attended the gospel singing every Friday night at Seven Oaks Fellowship Hall where he would play the drums. He was a testimony to all that met him. He was a member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church.
ROMANS 10:9-10
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
